The holidays are a time to size up where were are as a society. Economic data suggest that inequality in America is more pronounced than ever. The upper echilon of Corporate leaders now earn hundreds of times the salaries of their lowest paid employees. Wealth is increasingly concentrated in the hands of a few. Public health data indicate that inequality is a primary threat to our collective health and well being.
