August 20 , 2008 Connecting: Changing People's Lives

We travel the region interviewing people who are creating programs and services for those with disabilities and special needs. We'll also learn more about how one person is changing his community to meet the needs of people with disabilities. We'll talk about the Friendship Cottage, and adult day care facility that has opened in Blue Hill and how one person turned his family struggle into helping others. We'll also learn about the hospice program and how it helps people in their final stage of life.

Join our dialogue on Wednesday, August 20 at 10:00 AM as we discuss ways to deal with disabilities, care giving and dying.

We invite your email with questions and comments.
