Recent studies suggest that many chronic diseases result from a combination of unhealthy behavior and unhealthy environments. Precursors such as junk food, television and tobacco are driving up chronic disease in Maine. Medical responses often cost too much and come too late. Public health practitioners are looking for community solutions. Join us for a dialogue about environmental responses to chronic disease.
